On June 29, 2026, TLB held a groundbreaking ceremony for its high-performance basalt fiber project at the Yutian Tianjin Industrial Park in Xinjiang,China.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Party committees and governments of Hotan Prefecture and Yutian County,relevant government departments,Xinjiang assistance command offices, financial institutions,and participating enterprises.Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Tong delivered an address at the ceremony.
The launch of the project represents a key milestone in TLB's "One Center and Two Bases" industrial strategy in Hotan and marks a historic breakthrough for the development of the local basalt fiber industry.
As TLB's core manufacturing base linking eastern and western China,the Yutian project will serve as a major platform for pilot-scale testing,technology commercialization,and large-scale production.Building on this foundation,TLB plans to progressively develop an integrated industrial hub in Hotan comprising a basalt fiber technology innovation center,a manufacturing base,and an application demonstration base.
Covering approximately 25 acres,the project has a total planned investment of RMB 380 million and is designed to achieve an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes of high-performance continuous basalt fiber. Phase I will involve an investment of RMB 120 million and an annual production capacity of 3,000 tonnes, reflecting TLB's commitment to large-scale, specialized,and environmentally responsible development.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Xue Xiaowei, Chairwoman of TLB, stated that the Yutian project represents an important milestone in the company's expansion across northwestern China and the continued development of its integrated industrial chain.
She emphasized that TLB would remain firmly focused on its construction objectives by refining the implementation plan, establishing a detailed project schedule, and maintaining strict control over quality and safety. The company will make every effort to accelerate construction and fulfill its commitment to commence construction, complete the facility, and begin trial production within the same year, demonstrating TLB's strong execution capabilities and sense of responsibility through concrete action.
Looking ahead, TLB will remain committed to innovation-driven development and will continue to advance the research, development, and industrialization of high-performance basalt fiber. By delivering high-quality projects, TLB will further strengthen its technological capabilities, manufacturing capabilities, and contribution to industrial development.
